Transhipment approvals are required for any new organism entering New Zealand which is imported solely for the purpose of export within 20 working days and does not already have an approval from the Authority.
Applications are sent to ERMA New Zealand. A Committee of the Authority assesses each application before deciding whether or not to approve the transhipment.
